cicada

My kids found a cicada outside, and so I took a few pictures b/c I wasn't positive it was a cicada. But I asked around and sure enough, it is. He was kind enough to pose for me :) The middle picture is my favorite.

I've been wondering what a cicada looked like! We hear them all the time at my house, but I can't remember ever seeing one before. What a photogenic little bugger ;)
